• Los Angeles– The Angels have good depth around the infield with Macier Izturis backing up multiple positions in the infield. They also have a really good defense in the outfield, with centerfielders in the corner outfield spots. They now have super-prospect Mike Trout in the Majors starting and centerfield. Peter Bourjous now becomes the fastest pinch runner in the world with Trout starting.
• Possible Scenarios– The Angels real need is to play consistently. They might like to add a bullpen arm, but other than that they just need to win. We have heard that they might want a bat to add, and they had discussed a deal for Garret Jones of the Pirates. They might add a bat or they might not, but at this point they look pretty solid. Billy Butler could be an intriguing possibility as a DH.  They  may also need an offensive-minded catcher. The Angels could look for an offensive at third base as well.
